Nice smoke, nice size but I only bought the single. Thought I would get more of the stewed fruit I find in a RASS. Will probably invest in at least a box for variety as the price is not bad especially in Havana.

Nice night last nite in NY about 50 degrees.  Shared a few cigars with the family.  Nice aged HdM Epi2 MLO NOV 11....started a little slow but after the first inch really lived up to the hype.

Started yesterday's binge off with a couple of Skinny Monsters.   I had the "Frank" and my buddy had the "Jason".   That green label stick was fantastic.   I'm a serious threat to go back and buy some more....

All those monsters are just fun.  I made it a point to get all the boxes for display and smoke a couple of all of the original monsters, little monsters, pudgy monsters, skinny monsters.

I made it a point to not buy any. LOL

Just wasn't sold on the whole presentation, but you cannot argue it was marketing genius....   So I guess I missed out.  

And anything Mr Johnson makes is really fantastic. Far and away the most NC I have are his. The Havana Cazadores is a huge favorite.  I tried his monster release this past fall and it was awfully dark and leathery for my palatte. But when the Skinny Monsters came out I bought a 10ct sampler which is still in my locker at the B&M.   A new shipment of boxes of non samplers actually allowed me to sample.  And that Frank is fantastic.

Looks like today is a double-header .... and Ramon Allones belicosos are just so damnfine!  Smooth, rich, spicy, with a touch of espresso -- for my money, there are very few cigars out there that can match this one!
