This seems to be an issue lately. I hate these burn issues. Is it because of the breeze outside? I hope that's the only reason. Is it a RH/temp thing?

Afterwards a suprisingly good Ashton VSG Corona Gorda - damm this was an outstanding stick... Sweet-spicy gingerbread.

No, that's a construction issue. Most likely either inhomogenous bunching (uneven density) or ligero not being centered. Or both. You can't do much about it. It's a nuisance. In such a case permanent corrections are impending, or cutting off a larger bit off the foot might do to see whether the construction improves along the cigar's body. Sometimes it doesn't persist over the whole length of the cigar. But more often than not it is just indicative of a basically poorly rolled and wasted cigar.
