Giving a very young but very promising RASS another try. March '16.

The taste on the back of the throat on these tells me "Oh man in a couple years wow!" b2d7d04166931755cbda90b45a5a74e8.jpg

After the amazing Romeo no.2 I had the other week, I had a bud grab me a box, and again I got lucky. TOR was on the bottom!

They look beautiful, time to see how they smoke:party:

I just got a box of the RyJ 2s from ALO.  I got it primarily for my non-smoking buddies that always pass to smoke a Cuban  when they're over since these were on special on one of the other sites.  I tried one the other day wasn't expecting too much from it  but was pleasantly surprised.  I wouldnt name my favorite, but for the price I paid I'm definitely happy with their performance

Change of pace night. Wow.  This is heavenly!  I find it to be medium body but oh the flavors and transitions!  Sweet, dark chocolate and coffee with just the slightest earth tones and a touch of leather give way too a creamy dark cocoa mid way through.

Upmann Magnum 56. Excellent smoke despite of it's young age. Enjoyed at the Chedi in Switzerland which has a fantastic cigar room

Quintero Favoritos. I got a 5er a while back and every one has been an underfilled wind tunnel. Is that a typical issue with these? A decent C&C nonetheless.

I do like the Favoritos too and have got through a box and a half this year. There are the occasional iffy ones but generally they are sound - typically they do have quite a light draw The main issue I've had is that they need dryboxing or they tend to canoe. I think you've just had a bad batch.

Just got done smoking one from May '14.  Not a wind tunnel, and few of them have been.  But very inconsistent.  When they're on, they're good or better.  Tonight's was a tar bomb barely worth lighting up.
