A dark grey toothy ash. Flavors are deep tobacco..hinting at sweet. I'm getting cloves and some other baking spices. As well as cedar. 

If you have the same box light one now and see how it goes. This was a delightful surprise. The remaining are going to sleep a while longer.

I have a box but haven't cracked it open yet. Maybe sometime in 2017 it will see the light of day.

I lived on the next block (48th bet 2nd/3rd) for 12 years from 1980-1992.

Sliced a lot of beef in that place over the years..............

Good, not sure if they'll knock the BPC out of position for my favorite Boli but good.  My notes say "Soft chocolate, leather, and coffee, touch of pepper.  Medium body and strength."  Now, if they made a box of them without the tubos for 15-20% less cost, they'd be a hellova deal.

The peer pressure of the BCJs in this thread got to me tonight. This one was just alright but I definitely rushed it. So bloody cold in the garage tonight my beer was freezing up.
