Meh. Much better cigars for the money.

I love Davidoff but I had one of these recently and my only note on it is "weird". The story is that the grower of the leaf spent 20 years making a swamp a viable tobacco field against all advice, but succeeded and the Yasama was created.

An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Inspecting a recent arrival of new cab of Robusto's ALO JUN 13 with one stick having some battle damage it appears. Weird as all the others were pristine. Either way it's smoking wonderfully even with the dent, but did require a slight light touch up at the fender bender burn! B)

Yeah, it had a very un-Dominican pepper blast but at the same time that slightly musty smell. Not very harmonious. And that for 12.5 euros for a "petit Churchill". As far as I'm concerned, they should have left the swamp ;)

Do I even need to say the name?

Picked up some Cohiba Clubs but I'd sure like to get my hands on a box of Shorts to try. Hope they spread outside of Germany sometime soon.

AT&T cut my internet and cable line (TWC) today so I literally have nothing better to do. Might even dust off a hard copy of printed words.

Was out on the town the other night for the Minister of Finance's Birthday!  I was VERY lucky to pry this 2010 Extra for a few puffs.  At least I got to cheat with some Ben and J's that evening as well!

Cohiba Maduro 5 Secretos SOM Jun 16 from our host. This is a GREAT cigar. I was actually worried based on what I've read. Here's the deal...slow and shallow. Smoke it slowly and take shallow draws. For me...that has been the key. Wonderful draw, great burn and fantastic flavors.

A dark grey toothy ash. Flavors are deep tobacco..hinting at sweet. I'm getting cloves and some other baking spices. As well as cedar.

If you have the same box light one now and see how it goes. This was a delightful surprise. The remaining are going to sleep a while longer.
