Had a Tatuaje Regios Reserva yesterday afternoon at the Montecristo cigar lounge at Caesar's with Pete Johnson and his crew.  They're out promoting a tour currently.  If you're a fan of Tatuaje and are close to one of the events (all western US) go see him, but get there early.  They are limiting QPs so everyone can get a chance to pick something up.  

Love that Reserva line.

Would have shown this Vegas Robaina Clasicos ECA CCNE (1999) sooner at light up, but it's been too good to put down to snap a pic! Sweet and creamy with great aroma.

Very well IMO, consistent from stick to stick with creamed coffee, salty twang, and a nice toasted tobacco quality.  Got another box earlier this week on 24:24.

How was it? I picked up a box on yesterday's 24:24.

Great construction and draw. Tons of smoke output once I got past the first third. A little harsh, maybe I smoked too fast, but not unsmokable by any means. I will probably let them rest another 6 months before sampling again. Showing good potential.

This is my first HdM in a while. I certainly need to grab some more of the brand.

La Luna African Fuerte perfecto. These cigars have a very colorful past that certainly did not end well. They had a great little shop on Calle Ocho until things went very wrong. A beautiful lady named Marta rolled each one. The cigars were wonderful. I still have some after all these years.

I would go in on another box if I wasn't still holding on to hope of finding a box of the No. 2s to satisfy my need for a bit more RG. I think the 2s are a 42RG and I'm finding that I prefer the RG in the 40 - 48 range.

But these in 32 satisfy my occasional desire for a nuanced taste of fine cuban tobacco perfectly when I'm not in the mood to go all in. Don't know if that makes any sense...

LOE 12 July on these.  First light was pepper spice and chocolate which is now a creamy blend of chocolate.  Very interesting flavors on this one, (my first of this particular regional branding and 2012 age of the Vegas Robaina)
