BuzzArd Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 At Casa Fuente. This is the cameroon wrapper model, corona gorda size. Pretty smooth and tasty so far. 2
Pharmacovigilant Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 This FOH'ers nightly smoke is a NC Fonseca 2-2. Last one from an old box. Not as tasty as its Cuban namesake, but well made and enjoyable nonetheless. 3
Popular Post clutch5150 Posted November 28, 2016 Popular Post Posted November 28, 2016 Upon our arrival back home last month from Cuba, found her in our backyard, and has since never left our side. Hence her name. She also likes sitting in my big ash tray a bit too often! 8

A neighborhood siamese we thought was feral, but who turned out to be quite a family cat. She would sit on the front porch bench with me all through the winter. She moved into the house this past spring after some traumatizing event where she disappeared for two days, only to return hungry and dehydrated and terrified of the outdoors. This, after seeing her hobble through the neighborhood the previous 5 years (she's paraplegic). She will occasionally sit on the back porch with me now, but never out front. 5

Hence our leash for the birds she wants to run after... Ours is an indoor cat until I adjourn to the backyard and she cries like mad seeing me out there. We thought the same thing she was just an outside cat as she was pretty scrawny and cried like crazy. Ever since we got her inside, she just lounges around like she owns the place! Great pic btw... 3
Popular Post Lotusguy Posted November 28, 2016 Popular Post Posted November 28, 2016 I couldn't hold back and smoked one of my new Glorias - infanticide, I know. While definitely very young, it was a tasty stick and - unlike some other examples I saw - not underfilled. Over 2hrs of smoking time. Didn't particularly taste like a LGC which I found the case with all LGC RE so far. One touch up needed to correct the burn in the beginning. 9
Popular Post clutch5150 Posted November 28, 2016 Popular Post Posted November 28, 2016 2nd smoke of the day with some outstanding true vintage Robaina's that arrived. This one Don Alejandro HGS NOV 003. Amazing big wheat flavors thus far. 6

clutch5150 Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Just about at the halfway point now of this Don Alejandro HGS NOV 003, now loads of sweet leather and some spice kicking in. Just a wow smoke from this vintage Robaina. 1
Lotusguy Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 So what flavors did you get out of it?Mostly very dark roast coffee. The youth fully came through in the last third where it got rather harsh and needed degassing a few times as well as another cut.
