Pulled straight out of my long term 65rh storage. So it was a little wet. Meh it was until the final third. At which point, it was toasty and delicious. But by then, I was already lethargic from boredom.

Punch punch AUM FEB 14. Was going to review it for the comp but it was a grubby bitter stick. This box has been hit and miss. Some have been leather, cedar, cream and vanilla and others bitter. Maybe just need to put them away for 3 years and see if its a youth issue.

JL1 - so much better than the JL2.

Why dat? I'm really enjoying my JLS2s (UBA FEB 15) and recently almost bought the 1s but opted for a couple of boxes of smaller vitola smokes instead. Just curious.

Friday I went with vintage smokes:

1998 HdM Du Prince... that was delicious and refreshing.

Then I followed it with a 2002 Punch Petit Corona del Punch, rich and filling.

Saturday, I went with youth. I started the day with Bolivar Petit Corona (ETP ENE 16), then followed with Partagas SD4 (GEO DIC 14) and ended the night on a Montecristo #5 (MUL OCT 14). It was really a great day to smoke in South Florida - 73 degrees, clear, slight breeze, just perfect.

That looks delicious! It's 3 hours till 5 and I need a drink to make. ;) Do you have a recipe for that?

Recipe is
1/2 Shot Sugar syrup (2:1 Ratio)
1 shot salted caramel Kahlua
2 Shots Vodka
2 shots freshly made espresso

Shake with ice and fine strain

If you cant get salted caramel Kahlua you can use salted caramel in place of the sugar syrup and use standard Kahlua or Mr Blacks.

JL2 have been mostly mediocre for me. The JL1 was more rich but smoother and showed more evolution.
