An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

2013 MC #4...I thought it was time to give it a smoke after a loong sleep. Superb, and lot's of smoke for a great afternoon smoke after a long out of town trip to finally sit and relax while working! :P

What were thoughts on it? They look awesome! I grabbed some a few weeks back from a 24:72 and haven't broke into them yet, weather has been tough, dying to light one up!

Well, like many of us, I am usually drawn to Cohiba and I love the Piramides vitola. It has some grassy note and some sweetness. The construction and burn are very good. As I get close to the final third, some real sweetness on the finish. Not as super complex as a quality aged Monte #2 or Upmann but if you like the Cohiba flavor profile, then they are nice to have around but I would not go deep in them, IMHO. I have currently a 15 pack of tubos and a box of ten at home, which isn't much for me.

Sounds great thanks!I have a box of UPE 12 just waiting to be lit up, really hoping for the age to hopefully bring out the sweetness, Im a sucker for that in the cohiba profile

I guess I could have read further down the page....  LOL

Funny. I have exactly the same quantity.  A '12 box and the 15er tubos from the recent 2424 sale.

Have the same boxes of tubes Bohn007.  Full report required after!!

I took the cigar out of the tube 2 days before I smoked it. Not sure how much it helped but the cigar burned almost perfectly. Grassy notes in the beginning with with some Cohiba honey and cream. The best part was the final third when the the finish was very sweet. Not the most complex Cohiba or Piramides but a nice cigar. However, for $30 per stick, I would spend the money on aged Upmann or Montecristo #2. IMHO

A great cigar in my book but some people have seen some that appeared underfilled

This one had great construction. Definitely not underfilled, it burned for well over an hour, had a great oily wrapper, tons of smoke, and tons of character. I've got a box from May 16' that I can only hope has the same qualities but I doubt I will touch them for a year or two. Kind of makes me a bit sad actually!
