jjeng Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Had a ryj short churchill yesterday. Very smooth but burn was a little off.
Bahnofstrasse Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 07 SCdH La Muralla...outstanding!, toasted tobacco, cream, roasted nuts, medium body, great burn...100 minutes to the nub
Azksig Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Had a Hoyo Churchill from 2001. Classic Hoyo taste, grassy with some creamy notes. I had others from this box that were average but this was a jewel.
bassman Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 HQ 08 MC#5. Wow- strong cigar! Thanks, Lisa...
stargazer14 Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Dip #4, my first box, wasnt impressed by these at first, now after a month or two they are starting push my Boli Petite Coronas out of the way, which is saying a lot. These are a nice cigar.
tugboat Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Partagas D #4 Diplomaticos #4 H. Upmann Magnum 46 (my first) All outstanding but the Mag. 46 was the most enjoyable. What potential. Can't wait to get some age on the 2 box's I purchased. Hey Michael; Will be back at work after the 3rd. I'll give you a call than.
android Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Sunny Sunday smokes... LGC #4 with morning coffee after a nice five mile run. RASCC early afternoon. RnJ short Churchill after dinner. RASS by the fire under the stars.
Buch0 Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 BRC which knocked me off my feet.. It was an 09 tubos and jesus christ it hurt me, much too young for my liking. Full of spice/pepper/bark
Ligero Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Yesterday i had a Monte Eagle. I must admit that i was positiv suprised. Just a mild cigar, but really spicy. That was my fist one but i will try some more
LiLo Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Today i am about to smoke a 1979 Partagas Serie D #4. Holy sh*t i cannot wait!
bassman Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 TEB ABR 08 RA Gigante. What a lovely cigar. Sweet flavor that started mild & grew progressively stronger as I smoked- while retaining the sweetness. Been a while since I've tasted a good RAG. Missed out on the 05s, and 06 & 07 weren't impressive.
Wil Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Partagas lusi. Started out nicely, a little below medium with soft wood and spice. Developed some coffee notes and about half way through some grassy flavours. Burn has been great. Half way through and it has crapped out a little. Hoping it will pick up again. Not sure the double corona is my thing...
MIKA27 Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Just finished my first Cuaba Piramides EL2008 and boy, what a beauty! Started off mild, milk coffee/chocolate profile which then in the second third developed slightly in strength with caramel, more coffee and woody undertones. Highly recommend you all try it!

Wil Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 My selection for a Saturday night out with a couple of friends. Nice selection. How did they go?
MIKA27 Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Nice selection. How did they go? Thanks. I thought I'd take a broad selection to cater for anyone that may have wished for a larger or thinner gauge. I myself devoured the Monte D LE2008 (Very sweet, chocolate yet salty undertones) and Siglo VI whilst a friend of mine had his first taste of the Mag 48 and LOVED IT! Another friend enjoyed the VR Unicos but thought it was too strong for his liking. (Can't please everyone). HDM EE was left unsmoked for another day. On another note, the Xikar 5 count travel humidor was fantastic. I purchased that off Czars a few weeks back and I now take it everywhere. I highly recommend it.

I highly recommend it. The Monte and the Siglo 6 would've been my first choices too Been thinking about picking one of the Xikar travel humidors up...
MIKA27 Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 The Monte and the Siglo 6 would've been my first choices too Been thinking about picking one of the Xikar travel humidors up... You can't go wrong if you grab one. Not only does it keep your stogies protected but being air tight, it keeps the contents in perfect condition. I'm really glad I purchased one.
perfectform Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Tonight is a rockin Partagas de Partagas No. 1...
Bartolomeo Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Punch RS #11......Great Fake CoRo........not bad but blah in the last 1/3 Bart
khomeinist Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 SLE regios with coffee. Thin gauge Padron '64 with port. Buddy gave me a baby Endmundo. I smiled. Put it in my pocket. Smoked another Regios.
