Popular Post clutch5150 Posted November 5, 2016 Popular Post Posted November 5, 2016 Wow, knock on the door and these just arrived. I love new CC's I have never tried before! While very young and fresh outta of the mailman's hands...I was very surprised how mild and creamy these were. They will age well. I smoke everything I get just to try out. I cannot wait! 6
Popular Post El Hoze Posted November 5, 2016 Popular Post Posted November 5, 2016 2003 HU Monarcas tube. Been smoking great 5

ComancheKeen Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 HdM Anejados from our host during the last 15% off sale. Gorgeous wrapper and construction. Same box code as Rob and Ken's scathing review but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. 3

Popular Post BuzzArd Posted November 6, 2016 Popular Post Posted November 6, 2016 Another afternoon with the My Father crew. José had to drive "the car". He's holding onto my second stick of the afternoon, Janey's "La Dueña" petite lancero. Had another of Pete's Cazadores habano (brown label) to start the afternoon. Janey García photobombs.... 6

Cerebrum Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 Gray sunday sweetened with a Cohiba Medio Siglo. Full-flavoured, no typical grassy notes. More on the dryer woody site. Taste of wet soil, roasted notes and very creamy/oily mouthfeel. Delicious! Beautiful colorado wrapper, perfect construction, thightly packed but nice draw. A little to young, but imoh a good aging potential. Till now not very typical for the brand. Gesendet von meinem D6603 mit Tapatalk 4
Joshtupps Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 It's been a while gents, but I've managed to wangle a few days off work....This evening I decided to tuck into this 8-9-8 gifted by @Sunsmoke a few months back, cheers as always brother! And for dessert I tucked into the Frech Regional JL Minutos! Such a powerful little smoke.... Tupps. 4
Pharmacovigilant Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 Rich and complex, with ever changing intensity and textures. Oh, and the PSD5 was good too. RAE FEB14. 1
Jimmy_jack Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 First Davidoff in a very long time. First ever Yamasa. If these were reasonably priced, I'd be buying boxes. Wow...what a good smoke. 3

LLC Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 Over the years I've enjoyed a number of boxes of the HDM Epicure de Luxe. Had my last one earlier and as usual was great (AME JUL 13)Now a Punch DC (MAE JUL 14) off to a good but mild start. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 4
Popular Post JohnS Posted November 6, 2016 Popular Post Posted November 6, 2016 Cigars I've had recently.... 1) Diplomaticos No.2 TOS Dic 15 I've split a box and have gone through a few now. Yes, I agree that this is a good batch of Dip 2, however, for me, I'm resting my box a little longer as I'd prefer these milder. I've enjoyed the 'cocoa' element in my mid-15 Montecristo No.2's more lately, yet I know what these can become when that cocoa/sourdough/nutmeg comes more to the fore. 2) Cuaba Divinos TOS Abr 16 Similarly, I split a box on these and I've found them a little too young for my taste...a little too 'woody'. I've had a recent box of Cuaba Distinguidos which I went through half of very quickly on account of its wonderful transition from shortbread/cream to peanut butter/spice. Then again, the Distinguidos are two years old already, and these Divinos are 6 months only. Still I have 2 sticks left...let's leave them awhile and see how they develop. 3) H.Upmann Petit Corona ROA Ago 06 Oh how sad it is to see a wonderful seam of aged H.Upmann go. This was my last stick and 'my-oh-my' didn't I enjoy every last second of these? They just delivered a beautiful hit of Toasted tobacco/shortbread/cocoa/cream every time. I will lament their departing! 4) Cohiba Robustos Tubos PTR Ago 15 Only 1 year old yet this was quite fine. It had the quintessential Cohiba grass/honey and maybe a little vanilla. I've still got them in their tubes resting and I intend to visit other cigars and see how these come along 'down-the-track'. 5) Cohiba Exquisito ROA Mar 06 and Cohiba Corona Especiales PFY Dic 05 (Thanks Trevor!) I recently caught up with Trevor and was gifted these to smoke through. Yes, it was very pleasant October Spring afternoon that day! I think I brought along some 06 H.Upmann Petit Corona to sample, which was excellent, yet these two in comparison took the enjoyment of smoking quality aged cigars to another level. I think when you have an opportunity to enjoy aged mild, creamy Cohiba cigars you never take it for granted. Thank you kindly Trevor for a wonderful afternoon! 10
