Bartolomeo Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Upmann Royal Robusto......excellent, need to find some 09 Quai corona.......great flavors
Rushman Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 shared a bowl in a ****** with a customer (not that kind of bowl, simple shisha tobacco) followed by a Boli Corina Gigante.
Deodato Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 My first night in a new place, having moved from one side of Melbourne to the other. Celebrating with my first Behike 54... which is outstanding... and a bottle of Foxey's Hangout chardonnay. Sun disappeared not long ago and maybe 30 degrees on the deck
Bartolomeo Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 RA Extra LE 2011.......****! Best cigar I have had in a while....sweet and tangy, perfect draw, really enjoyable, slight peppery spice aftertaste
CanuckSARTech Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Man, love that ashtray and table of yours, Bart. I remember when you posted about that table - it's really eye-catching.
Lotusguy Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 First smoke in a couple of days: fantastic SP Bachilleres from '98

carnivalhobo Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 last night was a Dip 2, Cohiba Corona Esp, Aruturo Fuente Anejo Shark. Managed to sip my way through 4 or 5 Zacappa 23's along the way.
Rushman Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 H Upmann Connie No 1 and a Bolivar Corona Gigante --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=20.631492,-87.070766
nubchin Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Spot on !LOL! These Regios looked like they were hit with the ugly stick. We did a review of a visually beautiful Regio back in May which was very very tasty. Yesterdays were not as good ...but not far short. Agree with the Regios , the most reliable stick for daily smoke. The Boli RC also tends to have better blends with ugly box pressed wrappers then those in tubos. Just finished a box of RC tubo without a single hit .Dress box is the way to go.
dB69 Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Just had a Jose L.Piedra Crema -05. Delicious, except the very end which was too tarry. Yesterday smoked a Party Aristocrat -06 which was good, but this JLP was better. I'm stressed because of the weight loss competition. I can't drink coke with cigar anymore and tap water is quite boring. Maybe a couple of drops of lime or lemon would make it better, have to add that to my shopping list.
Bartolomeo Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 09 LGC Tainos.....excellent.....rich, sweet flavors....damn shame they stopped making these.....the aftertaste is great
cckandb24 Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 alec bradley Family Blend. When they first came out and got the 94 rating by CA they were great. a year later and it was HORRIBLE. seem to have hundreds of NC now that I have no desire to even touch. any thoughts on what to do with them......expensive bonfire maybe?
NicPac Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Yesterday my first Cohiba GR, right now my first '10 BHK 54. It's been a productive weekend
rckymtn22 Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 A nice PL montecarlo. Can't wait for warmer weather.
rckymtn22 Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 How are these? I have been eyeing a box for a little while now.... I enjoyed them, quite taste, I too am looking at getting a box. Finished my last sampler.
j0z3r Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 I purchased a box of H Upmann half coronas SUB SEP 11 and smoked one yesterday and one again today. I've got to say, the slightly awkward size aside, I really like this cigar. For a 40 minute smoke, and based on the two I've had so far, I'd put it right up there with the Partagas Short. Also had a Quesada España Selection petit robusto that was quite good, and finished up with a La Flor Dominicana Airbender corona.
dB69 Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 I enjoyed them, quite taste, I too am looking at getting a box. Finished my last sampler. Smoked one, actually my first PLMC, last week from a JUN11 box and it was delicious. Not much youth sensed despite its age. Will buy more boxes in the future. Sorry, I may sound a little boring as every cigar has been delicious recently. So was the RA Extra EL11 I smoked yesterday. Well, maybe I've just found my way to go...
maverickdrinker Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 from what I can remember from the weekend RA Allones Extra cohiba behike 54 edmundo dante 109 edmundo dante sublime cohiba reserva esplendido plus a couple of puff passes.....
mk05 Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Smoking an Aganorsa Leaf Robusto with some ice water tonight.
Guest rob Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 I had an Opus X Perfecxion #5 - it was horrible. I tossed it at half way point. Utterly disgusting, and if all cigars tasted like this - I would not smoke.
riazp Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 I know I said no smoking for a couple days, but I lied...oh well.... El Principe tonight was just spot on. LOL Typical shlomo
Lotusguy Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 BCJ this afternoon - little firecracker Now a Cohiba Lancero - so grassy - Yum! 2008 box that is smoking very nicely
