Such a great smoke you hear very little about. Glad I grabbed a box. I never tried the Raphael Gonzalez. I had a chance to get the Petit Corona. Would you recommend me pulling the trigger on them? Also, what Marca does it most resemble?

Jimmy_jack Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Cabaiguan Guapo I had to come back. This was truly a teribble cigar. Ash would not hold on. Tunnel burn and strange hollow tunnels throughout. Beetles? No popping though. Had to relight several times. Disappointed. 2

Preacher man Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Dip 2 from 2014; one of my favorite smokes I own. However, this one the burn was terrible; it burned from inside all the way through. Outer leaf never stayed lit. Never had this happen before and my buddy had one at the same time that was flawless. 4
zeavran1 Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 This cigar is fantastic paired with a red ale!Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk 2

TheLiquidGator Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 2013 Reyes. Mighty fine. Wonderful refined complex smoke. 4
LLC Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Had a Party Short but was plugged so I pitched it, very unusual for a Party Short. Replaced it with a POU MAY12 HQ Cohiba Siglo I and as always a great choice when short on time. 2
Popular Post TheFullMontecristo Posted October 6, 2016 Popular Post Posted October 6, 2016 At the park with my Lab this afternoon with a Bolivar Corona Junior ULA JUN15. Just wow. Better than the bpc's I have. 6
Popular Post Lotusguy Posted October 6, 2016 Popular Post Posted October 6, 2016 Over the last couple of days. Very nice and lasted 1.5 hours! Boli Bosphorus. One of the few recent short and thick sticks that doesn't suffer from underfilling (so far, anyway).I am shocked that a cigarillo can be that good. Cohiba Short. Will be stocking up majorly. Unlike most puritos I have tried, no harshness at all. 2008 SdC 3. What happened to the powerhouse cigar I remember? Mild like a Hoyo. Meh. 2014 Sir Winston. Stellar, but 80% of the box I picked this single from was underfilled with soft spots - I would not buy a box blindly. My first Monte 3 from the Spanish Jar. Very nice. Just a good Monte 3, nothing more, nothing less. OR PL Picadores. Pretty good. 8

Will certainly have to grab some. 5 hours ago, Lotusguy said: 2014 Sir Winston. Stellar, but 80% of the box I picked this single from was underfilled with soft spots - I would not buy a box blindly. You said it! You really wonder what they did to the SWs recently - '14/15/16-prod. either under- or overfilled, so that you very carefully have to select boxes, if at all possible to find a consistently good one (for that reason, I've frustratedly abstained from doing so recently and turned to picking singles only). Can't be so tricky to roll a Churchill. Sometimes it appears as if they let them be made in the training department.... No idea, perhaps it's in the particular tobacco used in this blend, as you are never, virtually never facing similar issues e.g. in the Boli CG. 5 hours ago, Lotusguy said: My first Monte 3 from the Spanish Jar.
