Rushman Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Smoked a very strong yet flavorful VRFamosos followed by a well aged but mediocre punch Churchill last night --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=20.631694,-87.070580
Lotusguy Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Upmann Sir Winston from Dec. 2002 - absolutely fantastic!! Happy Birthday, Conrad!! (my son, who was born Dec. 16 2002)
bamadoc77 Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 punch punch currently.. Edmundo Dantes earlier....they still need to grow some legs in complexity..
Rushman Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 really excellent monte number 2 followed by an unknown custom roll from cuba in a sublime size - bth very good
maverickdrinker Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 had a few cigars at our annual cigar xmas party Cohiba Behike 54 on the drive in Cohiba Behike 52 Cohiba 2011 EL 1966 Trinidad Fundadore and a fresh monsdale on the drive home. Great night seeing all the brothers out for the holidays
Pilgrims Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Just had my first Behike, the 52, will do a full write up/review, even given the hype etc that was a great smoke
dB69 Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 RyJ Churchill from April-09. Nothing to say about the cigar.
Schumi5 Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Currently enjoying my first Upmann Royal Robusto. So far...simply incredible. The wrapper has a rustic appeal quite different from most of the Habanos line. Much thicker that what you see on the Upmann 2 for example but a very familar creaminess and smoothness that is pure Upmann. The Upmann flavour profile is one that is just ideal for my pallete.
Lotusguy Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 SCDLH El Principe - solid smoke but I don't see more boxes in my future while there are RASCC to be had...
Schumi5 Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 HDM Epicure #2 today. Another cigar which never dissapoints. Excellent smoothness and takes you on a nice journey through very enjoyable flavours. Construction, burn and draw were all flawless.
LLC Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 B PC from an HQ box with a 2005 Clos du Val cab. Lovin' it.
Reaver2145 Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Punch Margaritas It was as tight as they come and not very good at all a shame. So i had a bolivar royal corona from 05 (i think) which was much better And now im smoking my pipe with some vanilla black and other "special" stuff
Lotusguy Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Small cigar day: First a Upmann Coronas Jr. - meh, then a RG Panetelas - very very nice, and finally a RASCC which was also very nice.
mbrody Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 08 Upmann Connie 1 two night ago, stellar smoke. Last night a Partagas E2. Was OK. Too loose of a draw. Tonight, a 07 RASS. They have not done it before, maybe tonight will be a turn around...
maverickdrinker Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 cohiba siglo IV tonight. Delicious!
carnivalhobo Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 P2 - not good at all, hopefully just sick and in need of more humi time RASS - June 11, very fresh, doesnt have itself together yet, but im sure they will be better every time i try another.
Schumi5 Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Wrapping up the weekend with a Party Short.
Rushman Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 A Hoyo Epi 2 after brunch and a RASCC after dinner. --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=20.631808,-87.070664
headstand Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Yesterday: an impossibly plugged BPC got tossed. Replaced with a Quai D'O Corona and suddenly everything was ok with the world.
Lotusguy Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 LGC MdO #2 - outstanding (unfortunately my only one and even though they are not officially discontinued, can't find them online anywhere), followed by a fantastic Punch Petit Coronations a/t from 2008. What a great C&C!
riazp Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 My first Cigar in over 10 days...Went over to stogies with Strada. Bolivar Petit Corona, HQ from a recent LFTH, Box date May 11...just simply amazing for such a young cigar. Such a consistent cigar, stellar box the czar team picked out. Great evening, thanks for getting me out Strada We smoked our cigars tonight in honour of little dominic who came to this world 24 hours ago
Lotusguy Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Punch Petit Coronations a/t (yes, again - the one yesterday was so good that I wanted to know it it was a fluke - today's stick was not quite as good). Then a PL Montecarlo - excellent!
aavkk Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 This morning a very tasty OSU 02 LGC #4, cant get em anymore and its too bad.
maverickdrinker Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 cohiba robusto this morning. Nothing like starting off the day with a bang.
