starts great creamy, light milk coffee, hints of caramel sweetness

then milk chocolate, notes of wood/cedar, shortbread and nuts

goes to roasted almonds, nougat, toasted tobacco, white pepper, black coffee, spice such as cinnamon, nutmeg

smooth, balanced, sensual, glorious

My first NC in many months. I have collection of the ones I like. This is a My Father #4. This one is well aged with a mellow yellow cello as pictured. This cigar has a basic profile of a BBF to me, but not near as well rounded. It has that in your face Nic blast that I no longer covet even when well as aged as  this example. Still a fairly tasty skinny. The construction is superb.

They're full flavoured & salty, light off a match and it takes me 20minutes to smoke one. I am a fan of the Cuaba brand.

2000 Romeo y Julieta Corona Grandes



For the first inch I swear I though I was smoking a PLPC. After that the stick transitioned into a strong anise and then it began to taste like one of those chocolate covered cherries. Final third is floral and woody. A very elegant and interesting cigar. Love the size. Many thanks to Justin Palermo  who included this gem in a PIF.

BTW, talk about dark cuban ash!
