FOH'ers Daily Smoke

Recommended Posts

Inspired by Rob's gnarly-cigar competition, decided it's time to grab an older Dominican that had never really caught my attention (can't quite remember whether bought, gifted or received as a freeby a few years ago). While optically and constructionwise the Perfecto wouldn't qualify for the contest, in fact, sporting quite a beautifully smooth col-cl Connecticut wrapper, draw and burn were absolutely flawless. The cigar's only issue.... nothing in the taste and aroma department. Nothing, virtually nothing. Like a light cigarette (perhaps expired, I guess my own fault... ;)). I just checked back - a cigar at the price of a Conny A!
I could bring myself to smoking the full first third (for the sake of "enlightenment"), but then tossed it. Complete waste of time.

Immediately followed by a ETP 15 MdO 4. Wanted to make sure it's going to hit - and it was!... as always. The 2015 MdO4 production is just gorgeous. For me even one gear above '13 and '14 production. People - for those of you who like the format, if not done yet, go do yourself a favor and put a few boxes aside!

An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

After all the small cigar talk in another thread I had to have a Monte No.5. Beautiful way to wind down before bed. 8377977ab8ab1af4b9f629d2a3a2203b.jpg

Mrs: Isn't it a bit early to be smoking a cigar?

I've always liked them. Quite mild, subtle grassy flavours, a little sweet. They do need a couple of years to settle though. I started on this mid-14 box a year ago and have almost finished it and they've improved no end over the year.
