brutusthebuckeye Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 Monte Sublime...3rd one from the box...first 2 were good but this one was a finger burner....super long finish...... I've had the box since 12/08...it did smoke fairly fast or maybe it was just that good(EUP jul 08)....

This one is much more enjoyable than the first two, which were a little tight and on the bland side. 60+ days rest and sitting in a lower humidity humidor has opened this smoke up. Light, but flavorfull, this time around. I'll have to try and post a review soon...

Buch0 Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Trinidad Robusto single from 09. Beautiful velvety/satin wrapper, tastes just as good. Draw was leaning towards the loose side which is a tad painful for a robusto IMO, but nonetheless it was a top smoke, as most Trinidads are. Marshmallow and icing sugar was hinted in the first third along with wheat and light tobacco. The same profile followed until just about the final third where the cigar started to go downhill, probably due to its age. Surprisingly had a strong nicotine content to this aswell which I didn't think was usual in the trini line.
