Enjoying a party short from a 50 cab (bloody good), whilst watching the Cohiba 1966 (bloody excellent year! Lol) review. Also watching the New Zealand Golf Open. After my round this morning, i wonder when i might obtain golf nirvana!!!

The 1966 sounds great......but....Can I justify the $.... I know the boss doesn't !!!

Custom roll Robusto from LCDH Stuttgart yesterday. Was almost as good as a Hamlet custom. Picked up a few singles including a 1966 and another box of Boli Esp. #2 RE but no half-coronas or Royal Robustos in sight :(

One of the most tasty BGM I've smoked just closing to its end. WOW!

HDM Des Dieux from 2003 - very very nice! They had a full 24 box of 1998 Trini Fundadores

Anyone got 525 Euros to spare? :D

I was going to have this awesome smelling Edmundo I've been saving, but at the last second I picked out a CAO Italia. Big mistake. It was absolute crap and I almost barfed from it. Next time I'll go with my first instinct and pick the Edmundo.

Sorry to hear that. Thanks for the idea though! I havent had an Eddy in a while. Gotta go find my box and grab one out.

Ah well, live and learn. At least you got some inspiration out of it Shlomo. :D

Totally unrelated... But for some reason your usage of "barfed" cracked me up a little......

LOL, I think it tickled Frank a little bit too. It honestly almost had me ralphing. I'm not a huge fan or CAO, but I like the MX2... when it's good. And you know, it had a great pre-light draw and smell of chocolate. I guess that's what keeps us coming back though, eh? If they were all the same it would sure get boring after a while.

Any idea as to the box date?

Yes, it was from RBS MAY08. It's the best box code of BGMs I have smoked so far. Smoked half of that particular box..

Been on a streak of bad/sick cigars. 08 TEB RAG, Bolivar PC and 07 Cohiba CE (I think I have dud box. Smoked 6 so far and all have been ok) all have left me disappointed.

Decided to go with a great 2010 dress box Partagas short. These were terrible when they arrived but after 6 months rest they are great. I am stocking up on shorts. Have a few cabs and a few dress boxes. Latest April 11 box looks great.

Smoked today a Rafael Gonzales Lonsdale ASC-VC.2 (Jun-97 Villa Clara).

A brilliant cigar, a perfect choice for Sunday afternoon!

Body and flavour grew from light to medium with very many delicious and complex flavours. Yummy-yummy! :perfect10:

There is one bad thing - it was my last one.

Cohiba Robusto, first one in ages, mellow, slightly under filled but good, balanced

Had an Edmundo today, with a lovely dark wrapper and great smell. I loved it, but I think it still could have used more time as it tasted a little fresh. I didn't check the box date at the B&M where I bought it but I'm guessing less than a year old.

Still, not bad at all.

LGC MdO #4. My first and probably last, since it tasted exactly like a MdO #3 of which I have quite a few left (thank heavens). It was great, though!
