Diplo 2 with cold brew on the last morning of our anniversary trip to Victoria BC. I tried using a bunch of hotel's prepackaged coffee grounds to make cold brew. Cold brewing did not improve the coffee at all. Nearly undrinkable. Fortunately the cigar, while young, was much better!

My first Superiores in a while from ULA SEP 14 box.  They're showing signs of greatness if I can just stay out of them for a while longer.

Will do.  Thanks.  I have another box, same code, that I haven't opened yet.  These are showing the potential to be as good as the MUR MAY 12 box that blew me away.  They were so good I couldn't stay out of them.  Sad they're gone.  Oh well...next box please!

I am not an EL fan, though I did buy quite a few boxes of the early stuff. This summer, I have made a point of smoking at least one a week to dwindle my 2000-2003 stash. I just don't see them doing anything better, and since I bought them, I have to smoke them. 

Tonight is a Cohiba Piramides EL 2001. This has actually been a nice cigar. The Partagas and RyJs I have all taste the same, but this one seems to have at least some nice flavors. This cigar has mellowed nicely (for an EL).

Seems like all I'm smoking lately is Upmann...been burning through this box of Connie 1s in record time!
