Draw was firm on first light but opened up after the first 5min. Waves of baking chocolate, cream and some cinnamon spice through the nose on the first third with some leather lingering on the finish. Construction & burn was beautiful throughout, strength a solid medium with some white pepper moving into the 2nd third. Leather & cocoa remained with a toasty nutty aroma lingering around cigar during each draw as the smoke cooled. 45min to the halfway point, more espresso than creamy coffee on the draw, pepper on the nose, lovely cigar to this point, few touchups but did not burn out as ash fell off. 1hr in, stick heated up significantly, more my fault for drawing with eager anticipation for the flavours of the first third to return. Final 3rd ended about 90 min into this slugger, most of the flavours gone with the exception of the pepper and a pickup in strength to med-full at the LE band point. 95pt for me on this delightful cigar paired with a St. Ambrose Lager to start, Costa Rican Rhum as the strength & pepper notes picked up.
