TheMonk Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 Flawless construction, beautiful draw, but they don't seem to be developing as quickly as I'd hoped: 3

Popular Post Orion21 Posted May 28, 2016 Popular Post Posted May 28, 2016 Torreon Easily the best cigar I have smoked this year. It has intense sweetness and beautiful balance. I want to eat the smoke it is so delicious. 95+ easily. 5

Not as settled as you'd like perhaps? Yes, my experience so far too. Ditto with the flawless construction and draw 5 hours ago, gojira said: Is this the Oficios? I will be visiting a LCDH in a couple of weeks and get one to try. No, the Oficios was initially a regular production release in 2004, then a LCDH in 2006 until discontinued in 2011. A corona with 43 ring gauge by 135 mm, it has a stellar reputation on our forum. http://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/brand.aspx?brand=san_cristobal#Oficios The Torreon came out in 2012 (or 13!) in a Habanos Specialist Exclusive Jar. Again, it has a stellar reputation. The photo on the link below of the Torreon on Cuban Cigar Website is one that I've donated for Alex to photograph for the benefit of cigar enthusiasts worldwide. I'm glad the link can be of good use to you. http://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/brand.aspx?brand=san_cristobal#305_Habanos_Specialist_Exclusive_Jar A Geniales, at 54 ring gauge x 150 mm, it's bigger than the Oficios (Same size as the Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo de San Juan) .
jclark33 Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Breakfast, Mag 46, coffee and a nip of rum. Cheers! 2

Thank you for the information! I don't know if I will try the Terreon, the price tag is a bit hefty. I'll definitely try the Oficios though, they seem to have some remaining stock.
