My wife and I are sitting on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, celebrating our 20th anniversary. Years ago, I acquired two of these Milenio cigars from an old timer some may remember, Van55 (RIP). When he did the split, I thought I would save them for a special day -- my son's wedding or my first grandchild's birth. Well, the timing never worked out on either, so I decided now was the time. Our anniversary seems like an auspicious enough occasion to me.

The cigar has smoked quite well. Still medium-full bodied strength, with a great burn. When I first fired it up, my initial thoughts were, "This is just an early release of the EL line!" However, it settled down and has been quite a cigar. Now, mind you, I wouldn't rate it top notch, but it has been nice. One of those purchases where I'm glad I got it, but it did not live up to its billing.

Congratulations on 20 years!

Oh and an edit for your post. The last sentence should read:

"One of those purchases where I'm glad I got it, but it did not live up to its billing. However, I'm happy to say the last 20 years with my beautiful wife has extended my expectations and then some."

Then you can conveniently leave your laptop or phone open so your wife can read your post. It will guarantee something a little extra special comes your way, wink wink.

Cheers again!
