Had a fantastic Boli PC this past weekend with a buddy on a hot +10c day . I supplied the sticks and he opened his whiskey cabinet. Had a nice Jameson 12 & 18 before the *****. It wasn't bad, not sure it's worth the cash though.

Had a Partagas Serie D No.3 at the weekend, one of the Limited Editions from 2006.

Ugliest wrapper I've seen in a while and positively fireproof, which was a real shame as it needed constant touching up. Other that the dodgy wrapper, what a beautiful cigar, perfectly balanced and good evolving flavours, only a faint touch of spiciness. Generally it was medium bodied, but at times even mild-to-medium, I can only assume that 10 years has really mellowed this as I highly doubt it was anything under medium in the first 5 years?

Club Allones. Much more approachable in its youth than the RA Extra, though has a similar "EL-ness." Still, won't touch for a year or so as it's definitely young. Doubt I'll stock up since I can get 2 RASS for the price of one of these.
