torsion Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 From a holiday sampler put together by an outstanding BOTL.This one has been resting since November and I decided to pull it out tonight just cause. The Bolivar Gold Medal-I didn't know much about this until maybe last year as I progressed with my learning and knowledge on Cuban cigars, but it seems to be a favourite amongst enthusiasts (including me now!) and sadly another discontinued stick.Started off full but settled into medium body to my palate and not one to smoke on an empty stomach!Peppery from the go but smoothed out, rich, creamy and earthy Bolivar throughout.I only had the one so really appreciated the opportunity to try this. Not going to try to hunt this down as I know they're HTF and hey let's face it,there's plenty more sticks out there!Edit-bloody love the lonsdale/cervantes size!!!! 2

Akela3rd Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Partagas Milles Fleurs (62% rh is really working well on these JJUL 14s) after another long Sunday doing required training for the Scout Association. 3
Lant63 Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Hector Luis robusto extra 2015. Very promising, the first third was just ok but the final third was mind blowing. Torreon amazing well worth the price of admission Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 4

Colt45 Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Hoyo des Dieux ASB MAR07 - really nice cigar from start to finish. Condensed milk / cream richness and medium bodied, but with the lean "woodiness" I associate with Hoyo.

Lant63 Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Why the housebrick? I'm intrigued...my dad uses it to put his lighters in and lack of cigarettes against so they don't blow away in the wind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
