I'm still working on the Monte 2 and it's holding up beautifully. Just about to get into the final third and still no rough edges or signs of youth. Although the starter never works, I haven't noticed a scented flame at all. The xikar allume single flame is fantastic. I'm a chronic touch up artist and it does the trick precisely. It's also great for a slow toasting while at the B&M. Both are available on Amazon. I use tripple filtered fuel with each. Thanks! Apparently, it's filtered 14 times. You see, I did not fully understand what it meant to be filtered 3 times as I thought it was. I don't have the slightest inkling what 14 times does to the fuel.
