An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Had a good friend give me this Punch RE Benelux 2009 and what a great cigar! Lots of great flavors and a very long sweet finish. Wish I had a box of these. Thanks E. 9066b2ec8eef61f98d41c8ebb8a62273.jpg

I've a had a disastrous box of these. Bought before I really knew what to look for. Terrible construction problems have meant impossible draws, and in those that do draw well, an off-centre roll requiring perpetual touching up. The one good cigar I've had from 16 so far was an absolute belter, though. So frustrating!

So if you're in the market, check that construction very carefully before buying!

The first couple from this box were very undefiled....this one spot on ...easily the best cigar this year for me.

Undefiled or pure. Yes, agreed West, they are that good. I couldn't get the ones on offer this week on the 24:24 sales, hopefully next time round.

I smoked my second one of these the other day from a 24:24 clearance box bought recently. They've been sitting in 61-62% rh for about 2 months and I must have gotten really unlucky, as they are horrible! The wrapper refuses to burn along with the rest of the filler and tastes really bitter and harsh as a result of this. I've written them off and now they just take up space in the humidor. I can only think that maybe these are PL's long game and they're not meant to smoke right away but then I see posts like this stating how good they are.

No amount of time will fix the fireproof wrapper, I'm afraid. Often seen on 2007 boxes, including LEs.

Enjoyed a 2004 Siglo VI (thanks again Trevor!) on this beautiful Australia Day which is also my birthday.

I am still fairly new to cigars but this was the best stick I've tasted. I can't find words to describe it. Simply amazing and made the day so much better.
