An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

Had another RyJ #4 last night. It might not be a 90 rated cigar but I have to say these little babies surprise me every time I smoke one. Now don't get me wrong. Not a power house of flavors, but sometimes you just want to smoke a smooth constant flavored cigar. Not my favorite cigar, but i'm glad i have them in my line up.

06 RyJ EX#3 and 05 Siglo V- one of the few stellar boxes I've had from 05.

Punch Punch tubo for me today. This will be my first one in tubo form. It smells amazing!

CS, was it from a 10 box, 25, 50 or tubo? I am interested since I have had some boring 50's from a 10 box...

Had a Boli CJ on a hike today with the dog. Nice Boli strength, earthy tones.

With us chattin bout the Mag 50 yesterday i smoked one from my 10er(URO JUN 08)last nite at 10pm.....

I got the box in Nov of 08.....the first 9 were wind tunnels....this one had a perfect draw and burn...started out way flat but picked up in 2/3 had a Sir Winnie thing going on but with more body and some roughness on the back throat....3/3 was more of the same with a slight perfume taste that i get with some cc's.....have one left but i am not looking to buy theses any time soon

It was no Tubo....Had the double band, it was a single i purchased from a Toronto B&M. If I remember correctly, it was from a 25 cab.

Certainly not a cigar I will be purchasing again soon. Both it and the Sir Winnie had nothing going on whatsoever. Very disappointing cigars.

CS, That's a bummer. But I would not pass complete judgement just yet. Revisit from another box; a tubo; or different vendor sometime in the future when you are ready.

As horrible as this sounds, if you find an "on" Mag50, I think you may just like it. I have been converted from a "sick" 10 count box. (Sick meaning flavorless).

It is a shame though that we say this all too often with many different Habanos..."when this cigar is ON" ...it seems that is just part of the game.

PSP 2 OWH MAR05

I haven't had one in quite some time so paired it up with a nice weyerbacher bottle condition Heresy stout from the same year.

PSP have come along nicely and totally held up to the rich dark stout.

Found a Cohiba Panetela that has been lying around in the humidor for awhile. It was cold out and I didn't have much time anyway. Surprisingly strong with hints of the classic Cohiba profile.

From a very generous friend- Davidoff Chateau Latour. Holy cow- what a fine cigar! Before this, the only Davidoff I'd ever smoked was a couple #1s that had less flavor than a Marlboro extra light. NOW I know why people think Davidoffs are special.

Last night I suffered through a cold January breeze and smoked a Juan Lopez Seleccion No. 2. Burn was offf a bit and the draw was a bit on the tighter side. Cigar started bitter, but really developed in the second third. Pepper notes, leather and a creaminess to it. Long on the palate...I could still tast this cigar 3 hours later, like I was still smoking it. Now that's a really long finish.

Had a very wonderfully drawing and burning Party Culebra last night. The smoke wasnt too complex, but the presentation was quite enjoyable.

Just finished up a very nice SCDLH El Principe with some Cruzan Single Barrel. The cigar offered quite a bit of sweet molasses and graham cracker notes, very enjoyable. EMA JUN 08.

Smoked a Partagas Super Partagas last night on the front porch after my run. Nothing spectacular. However, I did bring out a portable DVD player with me and watched a move called The Ugly Truth. I don't know if any of you have seen this as it was a flick my wife got from Netflix, but an incredibly funny orgasm scene in a restaurant made for a more enjoyable smoking experience. Check out the movie if you haven't seen it yet, or at least the restaurant scene.

My last Bolivar Gold Medal. Great burn but was utterly disappointed in the flavor. Gave up half way through the cigar

Cohiba Corona Especial satisfied this evening. Nothing too engaging, but smooth and some level of Cohiba coffee/cream.

Punch Corona 07 and a bottle of DFH WWS. Both the cigar and beer were good!
