headstand Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 A BBF that stood out for it's chocolate waffer cookie flavor - you know the kind with chocolate icing sugar sandwiched between two layers of waffer. Not remotely what I associate with BBFs. Recent stock (2011 or early 2012?) Sweet and addictive - yes the waffers and the cigar.
Lotusguy Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 NC consumption going up a bit since I am spending more time in cigar lounges due to the relatively cold weather right now. My Father Le Bijou Petit Robusto. It was alright.
j0z3r Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 JLP Cazadores from early '12. Not much to say here, some rich Cuban flavor in a budget friendly yet still decent cigar. No regrets in buying these at all.
Ophidion Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Getting ready to write my first review for the competition
Charltonc Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 2010 Sir WInston PSP selection- Thanks BradNC.
Lotusguy Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Punch Petit Punch. Started out great but turned harsh and bitter in the last third.
Lotusguy Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Added one of the best NCs I've had in a long time - a MUWAT Bait Fish. What a powerhouse of a cigar. Not for the faint of heart but very tasty indeed!
kevinfj Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 A little bit of heaven in hell. Dip #2 (heaven) in my personal hell (Disney World). That is Disney Contemporary Hotel in background.
hermit Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 This afternoon have tried a Monte no5 and also a Davidoff millenium blend short robusto, both enjoyed very much as new cigar smoker. Problem is i now feel like chewing through the rest of my sample
jrb5783 Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Bolivar RE Bulgaria kinda loosely packed but burn and flavors are excellent
LDOG Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Sancho Panza Belicoso from JUN00. Bloody fantastic. Edit - last one of 3, gutted iExplore on my Tappytalk part duex
Charltonc Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 excellent, SLR Serie A from 01. What a difference cabs make with cigars from 98-01. I have much less draw issues with cabs.
Strada Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 07 Punch Churchill and a 05 Cohiba Corona Especial last night !
Lotusguy Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Illusione Holy Lance candela. Nasty! Other than perfect construction nothing positive to report.
MrDowse Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 My first ever BHK 52. One dimensional and dull. Meh.
UpInSmoak Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 A wonderful Trinidad Reyes. This box keeps getting better!
LGC Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Illusione Holy Lance candela. Nasty! Other than perfect construction nothing positive to report. That thing just looks nasty!
Lotusguy Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 That thing just looks nasty! Sad to report it didn't taste any better than it looked
nikesupremedunk Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Can't smoke everyday now so I have to take advantage of my day off! First ever BHK (54)...mixed feelings Then had a 04 RyJ Exb 4...expected a little more from it. Lastly, Party short. First time as well, and it was great! Will have to try again when my palate isn't as shot though.
