From some Padron Cigar of the Year Sampler. These (Padron in general, and the 1926 series specifically) aren't exactly my cup of tea. Dizzying, bedspin producing nicotine stick of the year, perhaps, but I'm still sticking with my Cubans..

Although I am not a RE & LE hunter, this was the first of ''premium lines'' I think and the box really got me, such a magpie ahah.

Got this 2021 box in January 2022 in Andorra, for the current cost of a box of QDO 50. It went to sleep since then. Pleasantly surprised, with no big expectation, the blend is unique, for me what saved it is that it's quite aromatic. Have a box of Hidalgos too, but a 57 cepo, my god...Have a great weekend y'all!

GLE OCT 2020 Coloniales. First one out of the box. A hodgepodge of flavor. Everything from cedar/sandalwood, sweet spices on the retro to a more frequent salty butter/ pastry cakey profile with a touch of cinnamon here and there. I was skeptical about smoking this as the woman of the house has been sickly and I haven't felt the best, but it was all good. Enjoying this cool morning smoke.

Cubans, cold brew coffee, and a California sunrise. Started off with the JL2. Smooth throughout. Hints of twang here and there. Glorious final third w/ floral and citrus notes making their respective appearances.

Then got into the PSD6, UBL May 23. Amazing! Cream. Sourdough. Cashew. Super Smooth. More complex than the JL2. This was everything a Partagas should be!

Realizing age of box code date, has a lot to do with enjoyment of my cigars recently. Thus, I’ve rearranged my humidor accordingly.
