Fatcigar Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 These double coronas are beautifully presented in stars-filled silver foil. Comes in 25s packing. Enjoy the pictures
bunburyist Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 nice. Jury's out for me regarding fancy silver n gold packaging, but I'd accept one of these any chance of a review?
Chaki Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Nice looking cigars! Could you share with us what's the price for a box of these? Thanks!
Fatcigar Posted November 6, 2009 Author Posted November 6, 2009 nice. Jury's out for me regarding fancy silver n gold packaging, but I'd accept one of these any chance of a review? Jury is still out on these babies since they need resting after a flight aboard but my 1st taster sweared that they're at least 90% similar of the infamous Punch DC...what a waste when one can design own's taste profile under ER Program.......patience, my friend. May be an undertone of curry flavors....LOL Could you share with us what's the price for a box of these? Thanks! i was fortunate enough that one of my cigar buddies bargained very hard for a nice price...434!

Fatcigar Posted November 6, 2009 Author Posted November 6, 2009 434...Euros? Dollars? Can't be Indian Rupees? forgive me for not being specific since it may be against forum's policy to advertise prices although this is not a competitive product...please PM me.

thechenman Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Now that's a box of impressive looking cigars...
Habanos2000 Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 The foil wrapper cigar thing just doesn't make sense to me. But then again neither did the Fonseca paper wrap
anacostiakat Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Beautiful looking cigars. Nice presentation.
Colt45 Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Jury is still out on these babies since they need resting after a flight aboard but my 1st taster sweared that they're at least 90% similar of the infamous Punch DC...what a waste when one can design own's taste profile under ER Program Interesting - brings up again thoughts on what REs / ELs should be - true to the marque, great cigars with no regard to the band, or somewhere in between. Thanks for the pics.
neal875 Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 The foil wrapper cigar thing just doesn't make sense to me. But then again neither did the Fonseca paper wrap It makes sense to me. Gorgeous. Builds great value and bragging rights for customers who buy them. I'm sure Fat Cigar would attest to this. He seems to be fond of great packaging design. But we've had this discussion before on this Forum. Suffice it to say--the Punch shown here are to die for and I am a lot more likely to want to buy a box because of the packaging--everything else being in order.
yiorgosm Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 These are some beautiful looking cigars... DC's in disguise? I see they brought back the silver foil with the stars rather than the plain - haven't seen this in years!
dball Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 I see they brought back the silver foil with the stars rather than the plain - haven't seen this in years! Last time I saw that silver wrapper was on a 70's Fonseca Cosaco. Those Punch's look pretty and all, but I'm sure they are an arm and a leg.

Sub 500USD surprisingly, which is interesting considering the vitola, availability & the fact that they are regionals!
Jacobb Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Sub 500USD surprisingly, which is interesting considering the vitola, availability & the fact that they are regionals! Where did you hear that price? I'm working in Delhi and just handled a box of Patinos at India's sole Habano distributor and they were asking almost double that... These are gorgeous and I'd love to pick up a box while here but not at the price I found.
Colt45 Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Where did you hear that price? No offense, but the first forum rule (pinned in the discussion forum) is no mentioning of sources or prices. To ask in one's first post might be considered poor form. If you're interested in being a member here, take a little time to do some reading and "get to know us".

There's supposedly one source for these so I didn't think that was a problem and I tried to be vague in the price. I'll check up on the rules. PM has been sent to the OP. How do I change the forum view from threaded to standard?
