Cigar prices in Cuba

Hi, guys -

The wife and I are heading off for a week on the beach next month.

Has anybody noticed any price increases lately,

or is "Marty Mix''s list still more or less valid?

Nothing yet.

Situation is bad dough, not much food around not even in hotels... If things keep going like this, Cuba is going to be China in a few more years, Chinese are buying everything.

I had a buddy head to Varadero last Feb. He picked me up CoRo and ME's and the price was pretty well the same as Marty's.

Sales are down 30% in Cuba. I don't think they will try a price rise.

Let me know if they are opening boxes for clients these days and resealing boxes?

I was there in late Dec '09. The Caracol store opened the box if you requested, but the airport shops would not allow you to view before purchasing.

I didn't notice any re-sealed boxes. I bought multiple boxes, and must say that the '09 stock looking very fine!
