First Lady Posted October 16, 2009 Author Posted October 16, 2009 Just wondering what is the OLH site? Honestly picky picky ... On Line Humidor/Locker......
rckymtn22 Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Thanks, that's what I thought, but never know with you guys maybe there was another new program designed to help me spend my money!
canucks6024 Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Wow, who else is going to pick up a box? From what RA and Smithy said about them from their review I'm surprised there's still so much interest Are everyone who plan on buying a box, planning on aging them long term? Phil
El Presidente Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 I took 5 from the initial release. I will take a peak in 2012 and hope that by 2015 they will turn into what I am expecting.
Tampa1257 Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 I can say that unless Lisa decides to offer singles, then the box I am getting is going to be sleeping for no less than 5 years before smoking. If I can hold off longer, then I will. That being said, I am hoping that Lisa (or Rob) will let a few singles be sold, I know that I would like to get 5 to check them out once a year for progress while a whole box is aging.

Two box rule Chuckie. . .
bassman Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Am I the only one who thinks the RA CFs are smoking great now?
Stalebread Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Am I the only one who thinks the RA CFs are smoking great now? I got a box when they first hit the shelves but have been reluctant to try one. Next week, maybe.
Tampa1257 Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Two box rule Chuckie. . . I would if fundage allowed
Ginseng Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Am I the only one who thinks the RA CFs are smoking great now? I don't know about the only one, but I've been utterly confused by the cigars from the one box I have. Some weak, some insanely strong, some middle of the road and sort of nondescript. I honestly don't know what to make of this. Wilkey
kylej1 Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 I smoked my first RA CF yesterday and found it enjoyable. Perfect draw but it did get a little nicotine high toward the end, but it was full of flavor. I have another one that seems like its going to have a draw issue, smoking it tonight.
Bartolomeo Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Just got a 3 pack and letting them rest for a day or two, will try on Sun/Mon Beautiful in person and uniquely shaped Bart
paesano Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 Do we have a bunch of these for those like myself who procrastinate?
Stalebread Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 I got a box when they first hit the shelves but have been reluctant to try one.Next week, maybe. Tried the first one out of the box yesterday afternoon. The first half was acceptable. Second half took a turn for the worse. Tar and ash. The cigar did not, however, seem to be that strong. OK, strong, yes. But not overwhelmingly so.
mash Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Am I the only one who thinks the RA CFs are smoking great now? I totally agree, they are fantastic now.
thechenman Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Tried the first one out of the box yesterday afternoon. The first half was acceptable. Second half took a turn for the worse. Tar and ash. The cigar did not, however, seem to be that strong. OK, strong, yes. But not overwhelmingly so. I really want to buy and try this cigar, but much of what I am reading is preventing me from doing so. I mean...I've smoked some young cigars that seem to have great potential for aging, but these don't seem to have the same characteristics of what I like for when I decide to age a box of cigars.
raleigh Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 I`m hoping im in with the lucky ones. I was one of the lucky ones back then. I still have a few and think they are a great smoke now.
