I thought he'd been making progress, but he still does seem a little lost, doesn't he. Nevertheless, I stand behind Smithy 100% (I sure don't want to stand in front of him....) glaesthetic
Thanks for another entertaining review. Ordered a 50 cab from 07 from the Hot Box list just before the review was posted. Sadly it will be 45 days before I get to indulge. Can anyone tell me how they will compare to the 08's?
Ken Gargett
Thanks for another entertaining review. Ordered a 50 cab from 07 from the Hot Box list just before the review was posted. Sadly it will be 45 days before I get to indulge. Can anyone tell me how they will compare to the 08's? not on the 07's but late last night, i did pull out an 05, FIM OCT 05. lovely smoke, much more subtle than the 08, though t be expected. the 08's aside, always found these really need a few years for the flavours to emerge. i know rob bags the 05 (and 04's), not that he made any mention of that when selling them though to be fair, i recall it was me who was keen on them after seeing the way earlier ones were evolving. i think that those years are certainly coming around now. Ken Gargett
Ken you are a tool, you know that a tool! for our overseas friends, in australia, 'tool' is a term of endearment for a close, valued friend. no need to say it, smithy, taken as read. now, if you'll excuse me, i'm in the middle of burning more bruce on to those CD's you left here smithy so have to go. but thanks. and smithy, you know i have always thought of you as more than a tool too, in the nicest aussie way. Shelby07
for our overseas friends, in australia, 'tool' is a term of endearment for a close, valued friend. ... Wow, I'm glad you clarified that, Ken. Over here a "tool" is a slang term for a male appendage when used to describe a person and is usually derogatory in nature. But now that I understand the local terminology I'd like to thank each and every one of you tools for yet another great review. There's just nothing better in this world than watching a bunch of tools sitting around talking about cigars!

Couldn't agree more - smoked an SEP 05 today. These have really come into their own. Fuller, more powerful, full on coffee over earthy tobacco. Excellent, and still with plenty of legs. Froggy
Nice review! The Magnum 46 sure is one of my best. But I was deeply annoyed when Rob interrupted Ken... Nobody should interfere when an oracle speaks (I'm teasing you, Mr. Gargett... and I do learn a lot from you, lol) Good day mates!
