maalouly Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Twitter, facebook and myspace have changed the meaning of "Stalker" ... now it's legal to stalk your mates, friends and people you knew in the past and even people you have never met.
Rogers72 Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 I detest all of these things as well. If I care what you are doing, have been up to lately, or want to talk to you, I will call you up and ask and get together for dinner and drinks. If I haven't seen or talked to you in ages, there is probably a damn good reason for that.

jadawin Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 I like facebook for a place to post pictures for free and get ahold of people i dont get to see or have lost contact information for. Mostly facebook is a complete waste of time and people put way too much personal info on these type of sites, but it does have a few useful things about it (ok, not many).
SamuraiJack Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Twitter is for people who think their lives are so important that they feel the need for it to have a running commentary that the world (or people with little to do, really) can follow. Its kinda neat if a friend is on a cool vacation or something I guess. But not when they are mad at the tele, or out of toilet paper, or think they are cute.
bassman Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Don't know anything about it. I assume it is for twits?
Mr. Japan Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 I'm on FB just for IM with friends and relatives around the world. But a lot of **** come's up.

brian1 Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Yeah like cigar message boards! Trevor2118 said: I agree, I'm not on any of them......I have more important things to waste my time on..
shortsqueeze Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Come on, isn't using the word "***" to describe something you don't like so "4th Grade-ish"? I kind of feel like a lot of this is so "pot calling the kettle black" ... I mean really, this is a cigar bulletin board. Try explaining to a "Facebooker" what they do is without worth, or immature, or novel, and then explain to them how many hours you spend on cigar bulletin boards and listen to the response.
bolivr Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Doesn't look like I would learn anything from it so therefore I don't have time for it.
kqueen Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 I use twitter daily - and love it. Alot of cigar manufacturers and industry folks are on it and provide give aways/contests etc. I love it. doesn't mean its for everybody or that I am cool - just helps pass the time and a cool way to chat with folks about cigars in real time.
sounddust Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Here's some stuff that should not be Twit-tered http://thingsyoushouldnottwitter.com/

There you go; I was showing my ignorance. Might have to check this twitter thing out
