FireDigger Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Mine will have to be the picture of an Edmundo Dantes with a glass of Havana Club Anejo 7 Year Old at the Cancun LCDH. That was my one and only visit to a cigar shop with Habanos, and boy was it memorable!
PartagasIV Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Nice pic, that makes me thirsty just looking at it.

FireDigger Posted January 28, 2009 Author Posted January 28, 2009 Smoking a cigar in the enclosed outdoor venue at the resort we staryed at in the DR for our honeymoon. Mmmm. You don't say... I'm going to the DR for my honeymoon too, leaving in about a month. We're going to stay for five nights in Punta Cana. This is a very hard one to pick, i have hundreds of cigar related pictures. I know you said only 1, but i had to throw 2 pictures up,haha. A fantastic Bolivar Colosales RE My one and only Sublime i smoked a few years back for New Years Eve. Those are definitely memorable cigars jadawin! I still have a Edmundo Dantes that won't be touched for a few years.
WYPirate Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Not a particularly well composed shot, nor was the smoke itself a real show stopper. However the Punch Corona was my first Cuban Cigar, and the setting I was in when I smoked it was breathtaking. Together, those elements make this my favorite Cigar-related photo.
Professor Twain Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 This one is my favorite, it was sent to me by some Marines in Iraq. I had sent them a bunch of cigars over several months and they set up their own Smoking Lounge where they relaxed after a hard day at work.
Mr. Japan Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 This photo I like it as you get the smoke in the glass and overall a great Fundadores.
FireDigger Posted February 16, 2009 Author Posted February 16, 2009 I've enjoyed everyone's photos so far. Let's see some more!! Here is one more from me: Apparently, I'm not the only one who likes it. Some guy used it as their blog banner without my knowledge! I just happen to stumble upon it, but whatever, as long as they don't put it to bad use, I'll let them use it. I'm a bit flattered to tell you the truth. http://kearbroscigarjournal.blogspot.com/
n2advnture Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I'm just getting into trying to understand my DSLR. What settings did you use for that photo? Thanks! ~Mark
kjellfrick Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 This is my favourite photo and the subject is also one of the best cigars I've smoked.
FireDigger Posted February 16, 2009 Author Posted February 16, 2009 I'm just getting into trying to understand my DSLR. What settings did you use for that photo? Thanks! ~Mark Nothing more than a point-and-shoot with the macro on.
jwm8592 Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I also have had issues with getting photos to upload to this site, my camera has the following under IMAGE MODE: 6M normal (2816) 3M normal (2048) PC PC screen (1024) TV TV screen (640) I would think the PC would work, but it hasn't, any suggestions. Or should I be changing something in another MODE? I have no problems emailing pics, etc.. thx
jwm8592 Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Ok, I think I may have figured it out, if so here's one:
FireDigger Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 Those Bolivar Gold Medals.... always good models for a photo shoot!
Ken Gargett Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 i think prof T takes the award. i have an old one - must have been one of my first smokes and no doubt it would have been henry wintermans or some crap - from a massive lunch at doyles at watto's bay (aussies will know it). it is me leaning back in a chair in the beer garden, wearing nothing but bright red speedos with a huge cloud of smoke completely obscuring my head. other than that, i can only offer this one - in our little photo show top right so no surprise but i still like it - from fraser island. we had pinched a swans scarf from a good mate (the one that set me up with the phone at the tennis) and sent it around among us. the bottle is rockford's black shiraz, our best sparkling shiraz.
jeromeroselli Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Ken, that photo is currently my desktop wallpaper. I laughed out loud. Bravo
TheFife Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 I've always been fond of this picture: That is a great photo! I love the blurred background. Brad
anacostiakat Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 I do not have one favorite. I like diversity. . .
FireDigger Posted December 9, 2009 Author Posted December 9, 2009 I found this photo while looking through some old photos. This was back when I just got started in CCs and was sampling through singles. Now, I have mostly boxes, but the image of all the singles in one big bin seems very attractive to me now!
