Ziggy Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 Thats neat, I used to have a pet coon when I was younger. Amazing animals, highly inteligent and highly motivated if they want to get at something. :-D
Colt45 Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 Reminds me of a nest of chimney swifts I had to fish out of the chimney last year - the nest had fallen. They were babies. I put them in a basket and lowered them back down the chimney hoping the parents would return, but to no avail.
El Presidente Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 Sunday morning here Tom and I have my kids fawning over the baby coon photo. Thank you mate

Wiley Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 As much as I love animals, raccoons are a serious pain in the ass! Cute, no denying it. And too smart for their own good. And foul tempered. And really bold for such a little thing. My brother came home to find a mother and her brood ravaging his kitchen after they came in through the cat door, and they weren't inclined to leave without a fight.

SmokinAl Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 » something about a coon and a beaver trying to get into the whitehouse! I know I shouldn't, but I'm laughing.
Hugomarink Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 Those babies are very cute but I'm afraid to ask what became of them. I'm not sure if your job is critter (pest) relocation or eradication. We have lots of raccoons around here and I'm always amazed at how bold they are. They don't seem to be afraid of anything. Thankfully they do generally stay away from yards and homes around here. I guess they have it good enough down in the sewers so they don't need to topple trash cans or indulge in other pest-like behavior.
