yossie Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 Today, I smoked Cohiba lancero though, Its taste was quite different from previously I smoked . I have known There're those say "Cohiba lancero has lack of consitensy" . Then, I wonder what kind of vitolas or brands are consitensy? IMHO , VR famoso is very consistent. Let me hear your opinion.

I agree completely with you on the Famosos, I also feel that the Bolivar RC's are very consistent. Partagas, Serie D #4's and Party Shorts are usually pretty consistent as well.
Colt45 Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 Yossie, cigars that immediately come to mind for me are the Montecristo No.4 & No.5. Also the Partagas Serie du Connaisseur No.3. On the whole, I find Bolivar to be fairly consistent and true to the marque across the line, but there will always be some variability ('05 BF and RC come to mind).
Morientes50 Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 For me, its Monte 4 and Rass. Rass has a bit of a loose draw that some people don't like, but the flavor is consistent. Monte 4 is a rock. El Moro
jdbrown Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 Yossie, Ramone Allones has been the most consistent recently..06/07 have been superb IMO. Within the Bolivar range I would say the BRC. The Partagas Shorts are consistently good but watch out for underfills.
