It looks like a short DC. I think Colt knows this, but it was not clear to me from the post.

El Presidente
Bud if it makes it any easier to bear I have arranged Hamlet to roll the Tacos Imperiales size. 16 in total. :-) Hold the tobacco you have. I can have them re-rolled when the Cuban roller visits our store this year. I never believe in being dictated to

Claudius
What a horrible sight! Probably a good idea to send irreplaceable cigars unbanded...

This sounds like the absolute top solution.
BobLobLaw
Thats a crappy situation and an amazingly generous solution. To also attempt to give you more positives. 1) as pointed out you keep the tobacco and will get them re-rolled 2) by coming in cleared with no warning you will likely not ever get a letter and or fine in the future 3) its a horrible visual, but in the end it means some jacka$$ is not smoking your stuff 4) since the cigars were cleared and the tobacco is still illegal there is a change that guy can end up in trouble himself if ever caught. (we can only hope) Hope that helped a little!

Fatshotbud
WARNING - not for weak of heart Some were cut lengthwise some across the middle Was able to salvage 9/25 of Tacos. Also nailed some SCdH Principes but spared majority of those. Not going to lie - I actually had tears in my eyes and began shaking when I surveyed the damage. Someone out there made an enemy they don't want to ever meet!
