Fatshotbud
This Amberjack was caught in 250'of water offshore Louisiana, USA. Used a live 2lb Blue Runner for bait on 80# mono. Shut down the job for over an hour to bring it in. "Little Man" as he was called helped land the fish (dove in to snare it) and offered to give the perspective for size by posing next to it (he is 5'3" tall). Fed a crew of 10 men (well 9 + Little Man) two evening meals plus a seafood stew with the left overs. I consider this one of the best tasting fish in the Gulf Of Mexico. I know our techniques aren't as elegant as fly fishing but we get hungry out there.....
