ehdg
From the pic which is hard to go by the PSD5 looks like a short churchill. But very interesting specially if it tastes similar to a PSD4. The Monti Sublime looks likea Jaw Breaker. LOL
broozer
so i assume the cuaba is actually a piramide and not a belicoso? bruce
Mike33
» pres, do you have any idea when they will be fully released? I think the Partagas and Cuaba will be out mid-summer and the Monte in the fall.....similar to the EL releases this year.
Ken Gargett
» Prez, on the Monte sublime that you smoked, how did it compare to the » Cohiba sublime and Bolivar Libertadores? i've not tried the bolivar but was/am a huge fan of the cohiba sublimes. smoked a few when they were first released but to me, they were such obviously long term smokes that put them in deep storage and not been near them for ages. might be time for an update. for me, the monte's are up there in quality but much more approachable in their youth. i think that they will also be long termers, though perhaps not quite so long as the cohibas, but a more enjoyable smoke as a young stick. if i had endlss stocks of both, i suspec i'd smoke many more monte's over the next three to five years and then start swinging more to the cohibas. but in truth, i'd smoke either anytime. surprised at the comment that some are out there already. my understanding was mid year for the partagas and cuaba and sept-ish for the monte tough no doubt rob wll have more accurate info. Thanks for the feedback, Ken. Sounds like a worthy EL. I did like the one Bolivar I tried, but I thought it was a little harsher, much earthier, and a tad sweeter than the Cohiba. El Presidente
» Prez, on the Monte sublime that you smoked, how did it compare to the » Cohiba sublime and Bolivar Libertadores? Far more approachable young than the Cohiba Sublime upon release. Far more flavour and class than the Bolivar Liberadores. The Monte sublime was no more than 3 weeks old. It had the smoothness and flavour complexity of a 5 year old cigar. Sensational.

Alberto_Magnus
Mmmm...the Cuaba looks interesting! I am a big fan of this brand, and if I'm not mistaken it's the first Piramide by this brand, all the rest are figurados.
