mrcoin Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Just hung up with Rob. Weather seems to be the only factor that might cause a problem with Harry Caray's. So to rule out any problems involving weather Rob advises that we should go with an in-doors location. Someone that can set this up please take over now. I'm not sure if Belicosos is the only option here or not, but Rob seemed comfortable with it. LMK what you guys decide to do.

I am open and willing to drive to any location. The only reason I suggested Belicoso is because it is my home shop, And the 2 managers are very good friends of mine. And they seemed very open to the idea of hosting a bunch of cigar smoking mad men! Rob..I will be in Vegase with the Managers from the store. I asked this a long while ago and still have no idea about what the deal is with bringing our cigars? Does everyone just bring a bunch of randoms? If so, how many? Are we expected to buy everything we smoke there? Sorry if they are dumb questions, I just have no idea! :-D

Alot of ppl for herfs tend to bring in their Otterboxes filled with cigars to trade and giveaway. Of course it is always proper ettiquette to purchase something from the store. Afterall they are provinding a place for us to hang out free Pop , coffe, water and expressos! Plus they have the best assortment of cigars I have seen at any store in IL.

Any folks in NYC wanna make this, United is offering those weekend deals where you fly on Sat and must stay until Mon or Tues for $229. Looking forward to meeting some of the Chi regulars! Rob not so much. Having met him in NY, I can say he's nothing like his internet persona. I've never encountered such a belligerent and repugnant fellow before.
