Craig, I am not afiliated with Club Czar or Rob, other than as a happy customer, but I would check with him. There is a link to the International Store for Club Czar on the upper right of the FOH page. Rob had the PL Robusto and RA Estupendos in stock (the last time I looked.) He is a good source for the AsiaPac RE Releases, as I think readers of this forum would agree. I know places to check for the Magnificos, but since they are UK and not Asia Pac, Rob/Club Czar would not have them. PM me if you are interested in another source. We do not talk about other retailers or prices publicly on this forum. Cheers, DC

Without hesitation, I would get the RA Estupendos. IMO, it is the best cigar issued in the last year. Moreover, it is very smooth and smokeable now, although it will be better in a few years. On the other hand, neither the PL Robustos or Magnificos are anywhere ready to smoke. I've never met a PL that was any good when young. But I expect that both will be excellent in several years.

I have not tried RA Estupendos yet - but plenty more posters than just Shrink talk highly of it. I have tried the PL Robusto and love it. It is a crazy, wild, young smoke and I am not sure where it will end up, but I have high hopes. I would put a box away for a while. I have also tried the PL Magnificos. It is immature right now, but I still love the cigar today. I have very high hopes for where it will end up. I would get a box to smoke and a box to age, if that is the kind of smoker you are. Would I try the smokes you listed? Hell yes. The RE's are not cheap, but they have all been very interesting and certainly worth trying, IMNSHO. Enjoy, DC

jdbrown Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 I would get the RA Estupendo because I like them now and I believe they have the substance to be a superb aged cigar.
bassman Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 The Estupendo is an excellent cigar that is ready to smoke now. The PL Robusto needs more time, but is MUCH stronger & earthier in flavor. Never had the Magnifico. Don't like paying UK prices.:-(
ccsmoker Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 I would go with the Magnificos and then get the other two as soon as I could. But that is just me...I love all the Regional Releases.

I like the PL robusto cause it is stronger. Personally, I like stronger taste. If you want to smoke it right away, I guess RA might also be your choice. I never tried the Magnificos. No command

I think if I had to choose only one I would go with the RA Estupendos or the PL Robusto since there are 25. Both are and will be great cigars. I would make my choice based on average smoking time. I smoke a lot of Churchills, but many guys don't have time for them so they may not get a chance to try these very often.
TexaSmoke Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 » Indulge me please .... » » Would you get ... » » 1) PL Magnificos (10) » 2) PL Robusto (25) » 3) RA Estupendos (25) » » And why? Rob sells the RA Estipendos as sigles and the PL Robustos in 5 packs according to his website. Therefore if I wanted to try them I would buy 10 of each the PL Robustos and RA Estupendos. Then you will have about $50 left and you can buy a Magnificos.

The one with the smallest ring guage, because they tend to be a bit more full bodied taste wise and don't make me feel like I'm giving a blow job to a donkey dk.

Damn!! I really did not need that visual in my head!
shrink Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 » Damn!! I really did not need that visual in my head! If you have a spare $400, I'll hypnotize you, and get it out! BTW, cls515: please do not post a review of that donkey dk.

brooklyn Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 I love the PL Robustos;young and wild as noted, but special.:-)

The RA Estupendos are wonderful. I just had one the other day when I was in Florida on vacation. It's definitely aging well. The slight ammonia taste has gone away. It's simply a rich, dark chocolatey, nutty smoke and I think it will only get better with time.
