greenpimp Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 Good to hear it went smoothly. Did they really have scary nurses with spackle guns like Shrink imagined?

Had a lovely nurse but I couldn't get into the fantasizing stuff with her. Those hospital gowns are a pain. I have half my groin shaved. Not sure whether to shave the other have or go back to "natural"
Guest gorob23 Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 » » ALRIGHT!!!! Very relieved :-) How are you feeling? » » Was mean't to stay in overnight.....but once I saw dinner I checked out » and drove home. » » Feel fine mate ;-) LMAO Glad it all worked out have a cigar and a glass of rum ( allthe vodka is probably gone ;-) ) Rob
asmith Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 I heard from Lisa that the Doctors said you had a heart the same size as Phar Lap's, is this true?

Glad all is well Rob!
El Presidente Posted January 22, 2008 Author Posted January 22, 2008 » I heard from Lisa that the Doctors said you had a heart the same size as » Phar Lap's, is this true? Phar Lap for the uninitiated is the greatest racehorse in this country's history. Yes in my stress echo test my heart was found to be larger than ususal (natural...no disease). It explains my benevolence ;-)

There was a weird rhythm to my heartbeat. It was all found to be okay (or so they said). All I remember really clearly is there was this nurse, a male nurse, shaving my pubic hair so they could insert the tube or whatever goes in the artery. I looked up at him and said, I have had fantasies about someone else else shaving me there before, but it was never in a hospital, and it was never a guy in the fantasy.... I guess the point is, be careful what you wish (fantasize) for!

tigger Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 » aorta tell ya, there was much concern. » ok, not really - we heartly knew you were gone. Madre de carDios! Welcome back Rob.
crossbow Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 Cardiac Cath procedures are common nowadays and a one-day affair. Glad they got rid of the cause of your arrythmia. (I'm sure the doctors lectured you on the virtues of no alcohol and no smoking - and then half of them do smoke their fags in smoking areas and hit the pubs on the way home anyway!! Hypocrites the lot of them if you ask me) Glad youre back!! » Thank you for the well wishes which were way over the top for such a small » proceedure...but thanks anyway :-) » » Lisa frowned as I walked through the door this morning (worth more to her » dead... than alive :-) ) » » Arteries and heart muscle perfect. Small operation went well to rid me of » the offending electrical trigger. Remarkable how they can go in through a » vein in the groin and operate. » » All in all great service. In on the 11th of Jan to see the » specialist...Testing the 15th...operated upon on the 21st. » » Good to be back but will hod off on a cigar until late today :-)

Taino Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 Glad to hear you are fine mate, but rather surprised to know you work with an electrical trigger I thought you were an older model...
strayvector Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 Glad that it all went well and happy to see you back in fighting shape, Rob.
