anacostiakat Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Very sad news this morning. Redskin pro-bowl safety Sean Taylor passed away from gunshot wound. Guy makes the pro-bowl, seems to be turning his life around and gets life snatched from him at 24. Big loss for the Redskins obviously. With Springs' father ill and now this.
TThomas1 Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 My prayers to his young daughter and the rest of his family. I think this is definitely the saddest day in the Redskins' history.

GoSteelers Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Something fishy there, who the hell sleeps with a machete by their bed???
anacostiakat Posted November 27, 2007 Author Posted November 27, 2007 Here is the story: [link=http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3129406]ESPN[/link]
jaylax5 Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 » Something fishy there, who the hell sleeps with a machete by their bed??? I sleep with a navy seal style knife near my bed...:-) However, the better question is...what pro football player doesn't have an alarm system in their house! And a heavy, secure bedroom door no less! I know if I had a troubled history I would have those 2 things. That way the alarm would wake me and the police would be notified AND I would have time to lock my bedroom door and wait. It is sad none the less.
Freefallguy Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Jim- my son and I followed the story on Fox 5 last night. It wasn't hard to get choked up seeing and hearing the report from Ashburn. Sean, we hardly knew you.
n2advnture Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 I live in Ashburn and it was crazy last night. Regardless of his past, it's a very sad situation indeed. ~Mark
Van55 Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 I am very saddened by this tragic death. I keep a .357 Magnum by my bed. As someone once said, "Never bring a machete to a gunfight." May Mr. Taylor find eternal peace and may his loved ones, friends and team mates find solace from their grief.
anacostiakat Posted December 1, 2007 Author Posted December 1, 2007 Four arrested. Some confessed already. Of course this wont bring him back but it does give you some solace. They did not go there with the intent to kill anyone. [link=http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-redskins-taylorslain&prov=ap&type=lgns]Latest[/link]
