Have any of them been released yet? I am positively drooling over the thought of the Bolivar Double Corona. Of course, since the majority of the Middle East is very strict about so called vices, they're will probably only be about 10 boxes to go around.

Still trying to track down a reputable vendor that might eventually have these in stock.

opps..............thread (& website) corrected.

I don't know about everyone else, but given the large list of 2007 RE's and the even larger 2008 list (not to mention the "choker" sizes), I will not be chasing any of these.

I'm with you there - I think they've gone a bit overboard. Though I wouldn't mind trying the

Bolivar DC.......

I'm curious to see how they compare with the '05s, or whenever they came out.

Even though they "admitted" they are Montecristo, they have unique bands.

Thanks again Cam. Your offer is apprecaite......anything in the way of missing (or better) images is always appreciated.

Regarding a guide.......never really thought about it but I think an up-to-date website is needed more than another guide/ book, which by its very nature is out of date by the time it is published.

Besides, without giving too much away, I believe that "someone" may be doing something along this line.

Cheers

with rob away, i cannot confirm or deny any forthcoming guide.

if, however, certain rumours did have a morsel of truth about them, i can confirm an anticipated publication date of mid to late 2006. that may have to be refined somewhat. if rob took less than 12 holidays a year, we might stand a chance. again, if it were true, which i cannot confirm or deny, it is a high priority new year (ish).

This supposed person, working on this unconfirmed guide, must be working on Cuban time.....

I've been anticipating these, too.

Anyone do any "pre-release" tasting of these?

A guy on ICC smoked a few. No tasting as in detailed description, but he said they were the best RE this year along with the VR Maestros.

See you in Brussels in 2 weeks? :-D

I can handle paying more for an RE, but this is ridiculous. Especially considering all the lackluster reviews of the D4 reservas, and the Cohiba Reservas' I will not be buying these, that's for sure.
