26Oct07 - Funeral services for retired U.S. Navy Admiral and former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff William J. Crowe Junior have been set.

Crowe died last Thursday at Bethesda Naval Hospital. He was 82.

Just heard a snippet of an obituary on this guy from the BBC.

Aparently around the time of the Cuban Crisis, he was caught smoking a Habano.

When he was questioned about this he replied that the first rule of warfare is to "burn the enemy's crop!":-D

I do appreciate it Mel. Let me just say this - I still believe in individualism. I still believe we should

celebrate unity - the melting pot -not multiculturalism per se.

I still believe we should be held accountable for our actions. And no question - deep down, at heart,

I'm as nationalistic as they come. I could not carry your flag, but I'll proudly stand beside you

as you wave it.
