No water what so ever?
JMH Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 » Is there such a thing as "pure alcohol"? No water what so ever? Yep, I was using 100% (vol/vol) ethanol the other day at uni, though over time it would absorb some water from the air.
El Presidente Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Three standard drinks an hour for three days. What a hangover

No water what so ever? i remember when at uni, we tacked down some 'pure polish spirit'. shocker stuff. forget the actual level but it was 90% plus from memory. it was in half bottles and i remember that if we split it three ways into normal bottles then added water or whatever, we had the equivalent of three normal bottles of spirits. the closest thing to 100% was something i drank in a village in the cameroons called hots. still have internal scars.
