After reading the John Howard thread and part of Rob's post in particular, and now this,

I can't help but think out loud:

Criminals will always find ways to get guns.

Criminals will always find ways to get drugs.

Criminals will always find ways of circumventing the law, while the average law abiding

joe on the street goes about his business.

Not trying to rehash previous discussions, just my personal opinion.
