Fruity... Maybe Romeo y Julieta Robustos (Exhibicion No. 4)? They have some fruit to them. Also try El Rey del Mundo Choix Supreme: they're not really fruity, but floral and sweet, a very light and enjoyable smoke. The Choix Supreme is less strong than the Romeo y Julieta. Light but aromatic. :-)
yossie Posted August 23, 2007 Author Posted August 23, 2007 I had smoked them before though, What I remember is what romeo #4 is like young vegetable and what El rey del mundo is too light. But I will try them again for your recommendation :-D I am not sure when the day comes though... Because My money is extremely limited :crying: Thank you dude!
yossie Posted August 23, 2007 Author Posted August 23, 2007 hahaha. I would choose young lisa rather than them. Nevertheless There's a problem of language barrier. :-P The genuine punch (I can't remember but It was tubed.) was a good cigar. But I don't think that's fruity.

ERDM is too light, I agree. I suggested them for you, not for me! ;-) :-D Agree with shrink that Punch are fruity. I just never recommend or even smoke (m)any because I dont like the woody taste. :-|
yossie Posted August 23, 2007 Author Posted August 23, 2007 The Romeo #4 came from Hongkong. I think They were not counterfeit. they maybe too young or just bad blend. Haha. Great! I'm not sure where's your nation though, Aren't cigar smokers banned in there? Hmm... Punch is fruity..? The reason that's why I can't agree with you guys maybe come from I may not try good GENUINE punch. I have 2 sticks of Punch DC from Rob in my humidor though, It's too long for me to taste.
Colt45 Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I find many cigars have an element of fruit to them, though the sensation varies in style and intensity from one cigar to another, and I normally don't find fruit to be a dominant core flavor. I agree with the RyJ Churchill - all I've tried to date have an element of fruit. You've also mentioned Ramon Allones, which many find, in general, to have fruit characteristics. I find the RA 898V to have fruit elements, though to me, they are dark, deep stewed fruits, and just one element in a great cigar. The last H. Upmann Sir Winston I smoked had a decidedly citrus character to it, which is something I don't normally asscociate with this cigar. So in the end, I guess I'm probably not helping you much - if you haven't already, spend some time reading through the reviews here - it should help form an overall picture of flavor profiles of various cigars.
jwm8592 Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Shrink, you're killing me. I actually thought I saw an Aussie mustache in that group, go figure.
yossie Posted August 23, 2007 Author Posted August 23, 2007 I guess Nowadays Ramon 898 is tough to get. Because they've already been discontinued. Since I only have cigar history of about 2 years so far, I've not smoked them.. I've never experienced sad with varnished boxs like partagas 898 , LGC #2. Sir winston is one of my favorite. There're about 6 sticks in my humidor;-) . Unfortunately It's too long for me. they knock me out! :crying: Thanks dude.

Unfortunately It's too long for me. they knock me out! » I don't know how you smoke your cigars, but if I may, I'd suggest taking your time smoking large format cigars (all size cigars, really). Give yourself a minute or two between puffs. This can help lessen the impact, and also helps keep the cigar from getting too hot, can help prevent too much tar buildup, etc. I think the churchill format is a great combination of length and girth.
yossie Posted August 23, 2007 Author Posted August 23, 2007 Well, The problem is nicotine. For my weakness at nicotine, I can't smoke large cigars. So, I mainly smoke Robusto, CG,PC and minuto. I'm not sure whether It's true or not though, Aged cigars have less nicotine, I may smoke such cigars.
El Presidente Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Yossie try the following: Romeo y Julieta Short Churchill (cherry notes throughout). Cohiba Robusto Juan Lopez Seleccon No 2 Juan Lopez Seleccion No 1
nugget Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 If you don't like the big buggers and don't want something to strong I would go down the following lines. Cohiba - Siglo 2, Robusto HDM - Epicure No.1 Montecristo - No.3 In my view all great cigars. Enjoy.;-)
yossie Posted August 24, 2007 Author Posted August 24, 2007 Since I've never tried romeo SC and JL #2, I may purchase them with this week sales. Well, After I posted this thread ,the number of must buy cigars tremendously increases. Nevertheless My money is extremely limited. lol Thanks rob!

yossie Posted August 24, 2007 Author Posted August 24, 2007 Yeah, I've tried all the cigars though, They're really good.
yossie Posted August 24, 2007 Author Posted August 24, 2007 Yes. I'm going ahead to bankrupt. It maybe cause you write good reviews. :-D
shrink Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Is this fruity enough for you? If not, you might try to munch on a Punch. You'll like it a bunch...
