was just sitting at the table typing away and chatting with an editor - i have recently sold my place and relocated to a family shack northern nsw on the coast which is very isolated but a nice place, till i can find a new unit back in queensland - when all of a sudden, i had a pod of whales leaping away and smashing tails, including some small ones, right outside. heading north but i can still see them.

we often see lots of whales on the annual fishing trips to fraser island but very rarely here and never so close.

i know this has zip to do with cigars but it was such a magic moment, thought i'd share.
